Beginning February 12th, 2014 Artworld Fine Art Gallery is proud to host “Spoken Word” a poetry and reading series. “Spoken Word” is new to West Toronto and is held on the the second Wednesday of each month in the gallery. It is free to come and free for anyone to perform, regardless of style, experience, or identity. We want to hear your poems, rants, ballads, short stories, diaries, experimental texts, your heart and mind. We want people who appreciate the way words are performed. The nights are informal and will feature 3 readers with 20 min time slots and 10 minute breaks in between, giving guests time to browse the gallery, socialize and enjoy refreshments. Each Wednesday session is themed as it relates to art exhibits taking place at Artworld Fine Art Gallery.
Whatever your taste, and whether you join us regularly or only occasionally, we hope you enjoy your time at “Spoken Word”.
Please direct all inquiries as they relate to performing or feedback to
