Artworld Fine Art will host the next monthly SPOKEN WORD night on May 14th from 7PM – 8:30PM. Spoken Word is free to come and free for anyone to perform, regardless of style, experience or identity.
Our Guests Readers are:
Poet, activist and educator. Dagmar is the current Greater Toronto Area Slam Poetry Champion of Champions. Dagmar is regarded as a dynamic voice on the Canadian Poetry stage.
Is an painter by profession. Even though his paintings are reflections of his own experiences made into a story, he will read a true life story that his wife wrote for a Kazakhstan magazine about their chance meeting thousands of miles from home and how he living in Canada and she living in Kazakhstan they were able to overcome many obsticals in order to be together – all in the name of true love.
Local Poet and Storyteller who love to tell stories from her own experience as a naturalist along with traditional folk stories that inform, amuse and scare us ! She is a regular performer at the World Storytelling events and community venues.
Whatever your taste, and whether you join us regularly or only occasionally, we hope you enjoy your time at “Spoken Word”.
